This place honestly wasn’t as bad as some of these reviews make it out to be but also preference is subjective. We stayed with our toddler about three weeks ago (only got to reviewing this place now) and it was fine. Were we swayed by the posters before us? Yes. We arrived around midnight and were paranoid that our car would get broken into thanks to the reviews, but stayed since all the other hotels were booked up. You know what happened? Absolutely nothing. The front desk checkout guy whose name I forget was so wonderful. The room itself was outdated and not much frills, sure. But it had all the amenities we needed. Bathroom worked just fine, we had hot water, the sheets and towels were clean, we left alive. I’m wondering if some of the other folks who posted might just be a little more Karen than usual…
Glad to learn renovation of 24-year-old hotel is starting. New furniture was delivered today. Tired building is ready for renovation. Faulty fire alarms set off almost hourly this evening. Not excited about potential for sleeping tonight. Wobbly luggage cart is harder to steer than many others. We’re on our way elsewhere and needed a one-night stay. Noisy fridge and a/c for now.
No hot water. Toilet broken and oddly tiny. The pool was murky, cold and full of debris! Very nasty and unhealthy! Trash cans were overflowing. It smelled terrible. Trash mixed with cooking spices that were overpowering were pungently filling the halls. Never again!!! Also agree with all comments regarding the credit card charge. The family running this does not care and it’s evident by reading the comments. These blanket apologies with no mention of resolution.
Bed was tiny, not a queen and the fire alarm went off during the night. Otherwise it was very quiet, couldn’t hear anyone in the morning. People at the desk were very friendly and welcoming.
The lady on reception her name was ROU was very disrespectful and was taking the advantage of her own rules , took my passport and was teying to make a copy without permission,. The room was dirty and smelling with weed!!! I ask for refund and she says i will not receive a refund. Whatch out for the lady call ROU
