Unacceptable for Business Travelers – Avoid This Hotel
I recently stayed at Super 8 (1033 Airport Road, Allentown, PA), and it was a highly disappointing experience. As a business traveler, I expect a clean, comfortable, and professionally managed hotel, but this property failed on every level.
From the moment I entered, the hallway had a strong, unpleasant odor. Upon reaching my room, I was met with mold growth, an overpowering musty smell, and stained carpets. Shockingly, there were blood stains on the wall and table, and mold inside the microwave. The two double beds were sagging and poorly maintained, with only two pillows total—hardly suitable for a restful night.
Given my health concerns, the air quality was so poor that I couldn’t stay in the room for more than five minutes. When I requested a refund, the front desk staff was unhelpful and indifferent, claiming they had never even seen the rooms.
This hotel does not meet basic health and safety standards and should be inspected by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It is completely unsuitable for business travelers or anyone who values cleanliness and professionalism. I strongly advise booking elsewhere.

This is a dump. Between 2 double beds only 2 pillows on the bed. The smell in hall was bad. The room smelled too.
I’m sure the Pennsylvania Health Department would shut the place down if they saw the condition of the rooms.
What has gotten into the minds of the people who run these places.

Arrived at night to a warm room. No towels at all. Front desk had none either due to broken laundry. No blanket in the room z just a thin green sheet with cigarette burns. No breakfast in the morning, despite the booking including it. At least the in room heating and hot water were good.

This place had roaches. No towels no clean sheets. We were scared to sleep there. The guy at the front desk was no help. I called for the manager today and he's never around. I want this hotel to be taken down from the apps.

At 1 point I had no choice but to live in this dump the price was the only thing keeping me there. There was police in there every other night raiding rooms for drug dealers. There were people sleep in the steps high off fentanyl. About 2 months ago new people bought the hotel and they are worst. They make u leave a deposit for a room you can't possibly mess up any more then what it is.they tried to double charge my card on several occasions. Bed bugs and roaches. It smells horrible of mold and booty. The am front desk people are rude and obnoxious. I overheard him tell a Hispanicale that they didn't fit the criteria of the people they were trying to rent rooms to. That's the day I left...oh almost forgot don't do laundry unless u stay the whole time. I left some laundry in the dryer and most of it was gone, the person who stole em had the odassity to wear them the next day. She stretched the heck out my girls pajamas.
