I was getting ready to get in bed for the night when I noticed a bug. Then I pulled the sheets back and moved the pillows to find more. I believe they were bed bugs. I packed up and went to the front desk and they gave me another room, which I checked thoroughly and will every time now. Service was great and rooms were clean except for the bugs.
The staff was friendly, and courteous. The free breakfast was very nice, the hotel felt very clean. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but this hotel is popular with families. I was there for only an evening, but the sounds of children running, jumping, yelling, and crying persisted through the night. I could not get much sleep due to the noise. Great hotel for families, but I don’t think I will be staying there again.
Staff was efficient... Had a small problem with check in, and it was resolved quickly. Someone was always around if you needed help. Hotel was CLEAN... Lobby smelled great when we walked in. Room was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. (Been staying at hotels and Air BNBs for the past 7 years). Rooms were good.. We decided on the double queen bed suite. Beds were soft, plenty of storage room for 3 people, nice layout. Breakfast was good.. Got busy quick, sometimes there was a wait. But coffee was always available! Awesome location, we walked to the park both days. Plenty of parking! Also recommend Chris's family restaurant, short drive from the hotel.
Never have i ever not wanted to leave a place. Everyone, cook, desk, maids to lawn maintenance are so friendly. I feel like I am leaving family. The fresh baked cookies is something my mom would do.
Was put in a 1st floor room, right across from maintenance. I should have known better. Unless you like the noise and smell of breakfast at 5am, a bad location. Also, the walkin shower flooded the entire bathroom, and the walls are paper-thin. The guy in the next room was snoring so loud, he woke me up at 3:30am. Not a pleasant stay.
