I did two walking tours while I was in Bethlehem for a conference. Both were really interesting, and great ways to see the town (which I really didn't know anything about before I arrived). The Moravian tour was especially interesting: Our tour guide was dressed in traditional clothing which was a fun addition, and she was more than happy to chat and answer any questions my group had. If you're in Bethlehem and aren't sure what history this town has to offer, I would definitely give the centre a visit and found out!
Historic Bethlehem is an area not to be missed, especially during the Fall and Winter holidays. The beautiful historic buildings and folks in period dress make for a beautiful place to stroll. The numerous artisan stands and decorations add to this wonderful experience.
The Christmas City Stroll was well conceived. The guide was knowledgeable and warm. The walk is moderate with some inclines but decently lit even on the down stairs sections. Don't expect to go inside it is an outdoor stroll. Well worth the price.
My wife and I had a wonderful time on the tour. We enjoyed learning about Bethlehem. Mark, our tour guide was 10 stars!!! He was passionate of Bethlehem and very knowledgeable of their history. Paula, our tour driver did an awesome job driving us through the busy streets and keeping us safe. A BIG round of applause to them both for a memorable experience we are sure to never forget. The new store is big and very clean Plus the employees are really friendly. The other thing is the store is so much bigger than it was and better things to buy. They even have hooded sweatshirts and t-shirts as well. If anyone's in the area please check them out. I guarantee you'll love it there
