I will say that being a licensed Realtor in the state of Florida, my expectations are high when having to conduct any personal business. I have had the privilege to have met Marty and Kathryn during the process of working to sell my late father’s home, from a totally different state. With the experience of Marty and his team, we were able to get an offer before it even hit the market. This is such a huge benefit to working with someone who is an active member of their community, who works to maintain relationships with other professionals and treated me like true family. He took the time to explain the differences that a sale in PA has, with different taxes, fees and inspections. He set a realistic expectation of how much the home would and could sell for and over communicated every step of the way. I know that every persons situation is different when it comes to the motivation or need to buy/sell their home. My situation could have been the perfect storm for a disaster, but with the professionalism, due diligence and respect I was given and shown, my father’s home closed today, in PA, without any issues. Thank you to Marty and his entire team for reminding me that there are always good people in the world!

No stars if I could! I would not recommend this agency for their lack of professionalism. In a very recent experience I put an offer on and had a home inspection done on one of this agency’s listings. Due to inspection I backed out of the home and preceded to look for a different home. Roughly 3 weeks later my wife is receiving Facebook messages pertaining to the home we had backed out of. The people contacting my wife were new potential buyers of said property, and were looking for inside information on the property from our inspection report that my wife and I purchased. The next day I was on the phone with my agent who works at a different Remax to get to the bottom of how these strangers had gotten my wife’s information. Long story short I get directed to the selling agent who works at this Whitehall Remax as the source of the information leak. I have now spoke to the broker at this location twice and it appears that for their negligence they will take no blame. The broker was very quick to point the finger at the new buyers agent who was provided this documentation from the Whitehall office. I can not believe the lack of responsibility and duty to the customers privacy. I have no ties to this property and my wife should not be contacted about it. I would highly recommend going to another real estate agency or perhaps another Remax where you won’t be used to push the sale of a house that is not yours.

We first moved to PA the middle of the February. We hadn't had the luck of finding a place we had anticipated so we reached out to Craigslist after some advice hoping maybe someone would either have a rental or know someone who may have. Tracey, from this company reached out to me by email stating that they had multiple places available, sent me an email containing all of them. I responded that money wasn't an issue however our credit wasn't very well. She responded with that was okay, they have something for everyone. She made an appointment with my husband and I and had her boss, Irving, meet with us as well. We spent an hour or so explaining our situation, our specifics, and what we wanted to afford. Irving preceeded to tell us he's been in this business for years and he knows just what to do. Don't worry. They took our information including our social security numbers and said we'd have a place by the end of the weekend. We meet with Irving on a Saturday and he showed 1 place, a complete run down row home in a neighborhood that we specifically said we didn't want due to having small children. He then proceeded to tell us that is the only house we qualified for because they didn't run or social security numbers and we needed it asap. So why take our information if you weren't going to use it? He then proceeded to say it wasn't an issue with our credit because he can help. They do credit repair for FREE! Well needless to say we have not heard from anyone in months! After getting this run down home which thankful the landlord is a sweetheart and helpful and the neighborhood although loud and sometimes annoying is fairly well. I am now paying over $1,000 for credit repair and now dealing with other agencies. I'd give them a 0 if I could. Irving was only after commission which he received the day we handed over the cash and then disappeared. Stay clear and go with a business actually wanting to assist and you and smart enough to listen to what you are looking for!

I first made contact with this business back in early December looking for a distressed property to make into a 4 unit rental. Diana Rohrbaugh was the one to help me out. I told her what I was looking for and we discussed it briefly for a little bit, she told me that she would put me into their online system to start sending me potential houses to consider. After a week or two went by I stopped back and said I wasn't receiving any emails. Diana said she thought that she put me on the list but she would have to check. Roughly a week and a half later I received an email for her with two listings of houses that were already multi units. I decided to stop in and talk to her one day and explain that I was not looking for houses that were already multi-units but rather large houses to turn into multi units. I also was going to go more into detail on the location and property specifics at this time as well. Diana came out of her office and said she was busy that day and that I would have to email her to set up a time to meet next week. So i went back to my place an emailed her about meeting within an hour. She never responded! So the next week I went over to see if she could meet and the receptionist told me she was out showing a property. I left my number with the receptionist and told her to give it to Diana to give me a call when she gets back. I never got a call! So I emailed her and asked her what was going on. She replied and said those were the only two houses coming up in my specified price range. At this point I was wondering if she was capable of doing the job, because I had clearly told here at least twice that I was looking for a large distressed house to make a 4 unit, not a house that is already a multi unit. She clearly must not have been listening to anything I told her multiple times. I went in later that day and asked to get another realtor because she was clearly to stupid to help me. Tim Heimbach came around the corner and claimed to be the manager and told me that he was aware of the situation. He literally spent the entire time scolding me for referring to Diana as stupid. He did not even care to mention or apologize for the fact that she screwed up on what I was looking for in the first place. So I asked for the owners number and the receptionist gave me his business card. I emailed him over a week ago and called him numerous times and the phone call always goes to voicemail. He clearly does not care about potential buyers! I would avoid this company at all costs!

BUYER BEWARE! Do not sign a buyer/agency agreement with this REMAX branch for an extended period of time. We signed an agreement with Anthony Bisconti of this brokerage. We decided to use our selling agent as our buying agent because we were more comfortable with her abilities. We requested to be released from the eight month agreement expiring 12/31/2017. Anthony Bisconti and his broker Martin Hacker refused to release us even though it is common in the real estate industry to do so. Everyone I had spoken to, including other agents and lawyers, were questioning why they simply would not let us go. Let our mistake be a lesson to whoever reads this. DO NOT sign an extended agreement unless you are comfortable and confident in the agent's abilities. Even when we offered to compensate Mr. Bisconti for his time spent in showing us four houses and paperwork spent on an offer on a house, he refused to release us. This office will hold you hostage until they get their money. Their bottom line is their commission, NOT YOU!
